At Extinguished Candle Company, we believe a candle should do more than fill a room with beautiful fragrance. It should make a lasting impact. What began as a love for handcrafted candles soon became something bigger. A mission to help protect the world's most vulnerable wildlife. 

With the success of our parent company, Grey Horse Candle Company, an idea started to slowly take root. How do I help the creatures that make this world extraordinary when I'm simply just a candle maker? As a lifelong nature lover who once had a goal to be a biologist before horses stole her heart, I knew I could relight that passion. Old taxonomy prints from some of the great naturalists were my inspiration.

With every candle sold, we're donating a portion of proceeds to support conservation organizations working to protect endangered species around the world. Extinguished is more than just a name. It's a reminder of what's at stake and a commitment to helping ensure that these creatures are never extinguished.
